I have been trying to customize my web browsing experience on my Mac, and one thing I really want to do is set a specific homepage. I know each time I open my browser, it always starts with the default new tab page, but I prefer having a particular website load automatically. Whether it’s Safari, Chrome, or Firefox, I want to be able to configure this setting so that my favorite site welcomes me every time I start a new browsing session. In Chrome, you can set your homepage on Mac as follows:
- Launch Chrome.
- Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner.
- Select ‘Settings’ from the dropdown.
- In the ‘On startup’ section, choose ‘Open a specific page or set of pages.’
- Click ‘Add a new page.’
- Enter the URL and click ‘Add.’
For Firefox:
- Open Firefox.
- Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.
- Choose ‘Preferences.’
- In the ‘Home’ section, set your homepage by typing the URL in the ‘Homepage and new windows’ field.
