How to pair AirPods to Kindle?

I recently got a pair of AirPods and I’m loving the convenience they bring. However, I’ve been struggling to figure out how to pair AirPods to Kindle. Every time I try to connect them, it seems like the Kindle is either not detecting the AirPods, or the connection drops after a short while. I’m not sure if I’m missing a step or if my devices are just not compatible. I really want to be able to use my AirPods with my Kindle for reading audiobooks and watching videos without having to deal with wired headphones. Any insights or detailed steps on how to make this connection would be incredibly helpful.

I recently figured out how to connect AirPods to my Kindle. Here are the steps I followed:
1. Open the AirPods case with the AirPods inside.
2. Press and hold the button on the back of the case until the LED light flashes white.
3. On your Kindle, swipe down from the top to open the Quick Settings menu.
4. Tap ‘Settings,’ then go to ‘Wireless’ -> ‘Bluetooth.’
5. Make sure Bluetooth is on. Then tap ‘Pair a new device.’
6. Your AirPods should show up in the list of available devices. Tap on them to connect.

This should work if both your Kindle and AirPods are functioning properly.

You need to make sure your AirPods are in pairing mode. First, place both AirPods in the charging case and keep the lid open. Hold the setup button on the case until the status light blinks white. On your Kindle, go to Settings by swiping down from the top of the screen. Tap ‘Wireless’, ensure Bluetooth is on, and then select ‘Pair a New Device.’ Your AirPods should show up in the list—tap on them, and they should connect!

I had a similar challenge but here’s what I did:

With your AirPods in their charging case, ensure the lid is open.
Press and hold the button on the back of the case until the LED light turns white.
On your Kindle, go into the settings menu.
Select ‘Wireless’ and then ‘Bluetooth’.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
Tap on ‘Pair a New Device’.
Your AirPods should appear. Select them to connect.

By following these steps, I successfully paired my AirPods to my Kindle.

I found this workaround super handy when trying to do the same:

Make sure your AirPods are in their case, and the case has some charge.
Open the lid, then press and hold the small button on the back of the case until you see a white blinking light.
On your Kindle, pull down the menu from the top of the screen to access settings.
Tap on ‘Wireless,’ then ‘Bluetooth,’ and turn it on.
Tap on ‘Pair New Device.’
Look for ‘AirPods’ or whatever name you might have assigned to your AirPods. Tap to pair.
