Why can’t I reset my password?

A friend advised me to investigate if the service was experiencing technical difficulties or a temporary outage. By checking their status page, I found out they were indeed having issues. I decided to wait and try again later. After a few hours, I managed to reset my password smoothly.

Here’s an approach that worked for me:
1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Saved data could interfere with the reset process.
2. Use a different browser or try incognito mode to rule out browser-specific problems.
3. Ensure all information entered is accurate, including any case-sensitive details.

An effective workaround for me was using the mobile app for password resets instead of the web browser. The app interface often offers a simplified and reliable process, bypassing potential web-specific problems. After trying this, I received the reset link and successfully changed my password.

One major issue for not receiving reset emails was ISP filtering. I contacted my Internet Service Provider and requested them to whitelist emails from the service. After this, reset emails started to come through seamlessly.

Reaching out to customer support turned out to be crucial. Initially, I hesitated, thinking it would consume too much time. However, once I contacted support, they walked me through the process patiently, eventually helping me unlock my account. They noted that my account had an extra security layer requiring manual verification before allowing password resets.

Ensure your account isn’t compromised. In one instance, suspicious activity led the service to block password resets temporarily to prevent breaches. After verifying my identity through security questions and additional verification steps, I was able to secure and reset my password.

In my case, the account was locked after multiple failed login attempts, which prevented any password reset actions for a certain period. Once I waited for the lock-out duration (around 30 minutes), the reset process worked without a problem.
