Why did I replace the fan and the new one stopped working 1 day later?

I recently encountered a frustrating issue and I’m hoping to get some insight into what might be going wrong. After my old fan stopped working, I decided to replace it with a new fan. The installation seemed straightforward and everything was working perfectly fine initially. However, to my dismay, the following day the new fan stopped working altogether. It’s puzzling because I made sure to follow all the installation steps carefully, ensuring all the connections were secure and the power supply was stable. There were no unusual noises or signs of malfunction initially, so this sudden failure is quite unexpected. I’m concerned that I might have overlooked something critical or perhaps there’s another underlying issue that I’m not aware of. Any suggestions on diagnosing this problem would be very helpful!

From my experience, such situations can be frustrating. Sometimes, these failures are due to a defective fan. Manufacturing issues can cause the motor to stop abruptly. I suggest contacting the manufacturer for a replacement or repair under warranty if this is the case. It might be a hassle, but it’s worth checking.

Electrical issues can sometimes be subtle and easy to miss. I had a fan that stopped working because the wiring in my house wasn’t grounded properly. You should check if your fan is grounded correctly, as improper grounding can lead to sudden failures without warning signs. It’s a key aspect to verify during installation.
