Why do I see a charging symbol, but the battery percentage is not increasing?
I have recently been experiencing a frustrating issue with my phone. Even though I see a charging symbol when I plug it in, the battery percentage is not increasing at all. This is puzzling because the charging icon suggests that everything should be working fine, yet the battery level remains stagnant. I have tried using different chargers and power outlets to no avail. It’s getting increasingly difficult to rely on my phone throughout the day with this persistent problem. I am not sure if the issue lies with the charger, the battery, or something else entirely. Every time I connect my phone, I hope to see the battery percentage go up, but it just doesn’t budge. It’s leaving me quite perplexed and concerned about what might be causing this issue.

Your problem might be related to a malfunctioning charging cable. Over time, cables can undergo wear and tear that is not always visible. An internal fault in the cable can prevent it from transmitting power properly. I would suggest trying a different, preferably new, charging cable to see if that resolves the problem.

Check for any debris or dirt in the charging port of your device. Sometimes, lint, dust, or other small particles accumulate inside the port, inhibiting proper connection with the charger. Using a small, dry brush or compressed air, you can gently clean out the port. Be careful not to cause any damage while doing this.
