Why does my HP laptop flash then turn off when I press the power button?
I’m experiencing a recurring issue with my HP laptop. Whenever I press the power button, the laptop starts to power on, but then it flashes and immediately turns off. I notice that the screen doesn’t even get a chance to boot up properly before everything goes dark again. The indicator lights blink momentarily, and there might be a brief sound from the internal fan, but that’s all. It’s incredibly frustrating because I can’t get the laptop to stay on long enough to perform any tasks. I’m unsure if this is due to a hardware malfunction or something else entirely, and I need to understand what might be causing this sudden shutdown every time I try to power it on.

Perform a Hard Reset: Sometimes, draining the residual charge can help the laptop reset its power circuit.
1. Turn off your laptop and disconnect the power adapter.
2. Remove the battery (if possible).
3. Hold the power button down for 30 seconds.
4. Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then attempt to turn on the laptop.
